Length, width, depth
Under 8 m you feel you are always turning. At 10 m you swim comfortably; at 12 or 15 m the pool feels like a lane in a public pool. We keep the depth even, around 1.30 to 1.40 m, so you can stand along the whole length and turn safely.

Steps in the right place
Steps in the middle of the lane get in the way. We put them at one end, across the full width, or replace them with a stainless steel ladder on the side so the water stays clear.
Send a photo of your garden on WhatsApp. The technician usually answers the same day.
Counter-current swimming
Shorter pools can have a counter-current unit: a jet that pushes a strong current and holds you in place while you swim. It needs its own pump and power, and we plan it before the panels go up.
How a long pool looks
A long pool with a dark liner and decking along its length looks like a water channel in the garden. With an LED line on one wall, it becomes a strip of light at night. See water colour and lighting.
